Tina has owned and operated Homestay Network since 2012, before that she was the General Manager of the business for five (5) years. Her background in Management Consulting and Program Management has been vital in building our customer and business relationships. As Managing Director, Tina is responsible for the control, direction and management of Homestay Network. Her primary focus is promoting Homestay Network both in Australia and internationally. Tina takes particular interest in hosts who care for our guardianship students.
Tour Groups Manager
Chris is part of the Host on boarding team in the Newcastle and Central Coast area. Chris manages our inbound study tours for many clients and is known for her attention to detail and getting the job done! She enjoys getting know our hosts and clients. Chris is a keen baker, enjoys sewing and spending time with friends and family.
Iin joined us in November 2016 to place students with hosts. Iin is a warm and friendly lady with first-hand experience in this industry. Having arrived in Australia as a homestay student herself from Indonesia, she can draw on her experiences when dealing with students. Iin works to place the students in a homestay for various schools, colleges and Universities. Iin currently works part-time on Monday, Thursday and Fridays.
Julie joined the Placements team in early 2018. Julie is a very dedicated and caring lady who has previous Student Advisor experience at one of Sydney's leading Universities. Julie is working part time on Monday and Tuesdays with the Placements Team to offer the most suitable host families for our International Students! She is a keen cook and very friendly lady.
Host Inspector – East & City Areas
Jenny is part of our host on-boarding team, she joined Homestay Network in 2015 and enjoys visiting our lovely host families located in the Eastern suburbs and city of Sydney. Jenny is our primary Host Inspector for the Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs.
Host Onboarding Officer
Lisa has worked within the homestay industry for over 5 years giving advice and information sessions to our hosts. She has a depth of knowledge regarding the issues hosts can sometimes experience and a sound understanding of the students needs. Lisa is often the first point of contact for new hosts as she conducts the initial interview over the phone.
Study Tour Event Coordinator
Gail has been with HSN - Homestay Network since 2009 and is an experienced Host Coordinator and a member of the Study Groups team. Gail will be seen meeting and greeting Clients, Guests and hosts at our Study Tour Events. Gail has a solid career in Service Performance Management and Delivery and is very familiar with the Asian marketplace and its distinct cultural identities in particular.
Brenda has been with Homestay Network since mid 2017 and ensures all our students receive their invoices on time each month! Brenda is fluent in cantonese and is often in direct contact with students and their parents back home. Brenda works part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is also responsible for the host payments.
